Marquee flooring frame

Box section steel frame marquee flooring (also called cassette flooring) is assembled on the ground to the size of the marquee. Foot plates for the uprights are bolted to the steelwork and replace the normal base plates and stakes.

Tent Floor

After the steelwork is assembled and levelled on the ground, wooden marquee flooring boards are slotted into place between the framework creating a level floor.

Frame Tent Parts

The clear span marquee framework is assembled directly over the finished cassette marquee flooring system with the heavy flooring adding considerable additional weight and stability to the tent structure in high winds.

Another type of cassette marquee flooring offers an easier method of construction by having the flooring boards drop in from above after the aluminium or steel frame is assembled. This system is much quicker to assemble on site. Other modern and quick tent flooring systems have been developed including ridged plastic squares which simply interlock together. They are less attractive, but have the advantage of light weight and reduced bulk together with an incredible speed of construction.
