We have undertaken the
largest survey of rental charges / marquee hire prices for the industry with data
collected from 31 marquee companies. All the marquee prices data
are for basic
tent
rental (no linings, matting or package deals) and
inclusive of value added tax.
For each size we have given the average hire price (inc VAT) from a given number of companies. The larger the sample
the more accurate the results. We have also provided the
lowest and the highest marquee prices charged for information -
there is wide variation in marquee hire prices.
If you are using this
information for
reference you should bear in mind that marquee hire prices are influenced
by several factors. One factor is location, a marquee hire
business in
London or
Surrey is likely to have higher rental
charges than one located in
Cornwall or
Wales.
Another
factor is the type of marquee - for example the data for the
larger sized
traditional marquees are made up of marquee prices
which include traditional canvas tents (which may be used
extensively for shows and events) and also new American
style PVC tents (which are extremely expensive to buy and
may be used for mainly private functions).
For the aluminium frame
marquees data we have avoided including
marquee hire prices for inferior light weight
tents which are widely available to purchase retail and are
used by a small number of companies. |
